| IFAW saved over 1,000 elephants. |
The government and IFAW made a compromise, called The Ivory Trade Ban, which
banned all shipments of ivory. It took IFAW about one year to convince the government to make a compromise with them. After
the compromise, IFAW banned more than 1,200 shipments of ivory and saved more than 1,000 elephants. The Ivory Trade Ban was
a great improvement... until now.
